Is biting an ice-cream painful?

Teeth may become painfully sensitive to temperature when their enamel is thinned. If so, we recommend switching your toothpaste to the Sensodyne® and Colgate® toothpastes specially formulated for sensitive teeth. These are clearly labelled and available in most pharmacies. No other change to your normal oral health routine may be necessary.

Though a change of toothpaste is often enough to relieve the pain of sensitive teeth, if sensitivity persisits then make an appointment to discuss the problem with your dentist.
