Brushing kids' teeth

Brush twice daily!

Brushing teeth should be part of a child's daily routine. We recommend that tooth brushing is supervised until your child is at least 7 years old, or until you a satisfied that your child is brushing his/her teeth properly.

Toothbrushes for kids come in many fun shapes and colours – ask about child toothbrushes at reception. We recommend avoiding electric toothbrushes until your child is 9 years or older.

Our staff can help to teach your child how to brush his/her teeth. Ask at your next appointment.
